Puella Magi Madoka Magica

Madoka Kaname, who is just fourteen years old, has a bizarre dream in which she sees a strange creature and a girl in distress. The very next day, a mysterious girl by the name of Homura Akemi joins her class. To her amazement, Homura is the same girl that Madoka saw in her dream.
Later on, Madoka hears a cry for help in her head that turns out to be from an injured Kyuubey, the feline creature that she saw in her dream as well. But when she rushes to the location, she finds Homura there and she warns Madoka to stay away from the small creature. Madoka realizes that her new classmate had attacked the helpless creature and she decides to run away with Kyuubey along with her best friend, Sayaka Miki.
Once they escape, Kyuubey proposes an alluring offer to the girls – they can become magical girls and get any wish they desire granted in exchange. But not everything is what it seems, and the extent of their wishes might be heavier than they had thought.
